







Domus development work. What began with analysis of aboriginal art and architecture progressed to the understanding housing in Arab desert climates, namely Egyptian, with the strong emphasis on enclosed space, cave like dwelling where the air is kept cool and shaded from sun by the thick shear walls, made from predominately mud brick mass. Taking the interplay of Barrel vaults against one another, the Louis Kahn Kimbell art Museum was looked at as an example of vaulting solutions.
