Here is a link to a site which explores origami furniture and shelters. I fell into this while i was searching how to create my domed roof. Its got some very interesting ideas about folding things up and deconstructing them for transport in a flat form. A good one is Shelter Origami, designed by Akemi Tahara and The slimmy chair, designed by Frederic Debackere.
