Minima Final

Minima Final: For minima i decided to ground my design from the materials that were used to construct the model, i strictly stuck to timbers and balsa wood, i found this may somewhat restrict the conceptual aspect of minima, i felt this was necessary to help execute the work, because ideas keep coming and coming and causing change. Change may be good in some aspects but it was not needed to execute the work. I enjoyed using the balsa wood as well, it allowed a great level of detail and structure to be expressed. With the model you could see it and feel it and believe in the space, i felt this would greatly help in the presentation, it was a tedious model to build especially the flooring system, but it was a model worth doing. I felt that minima could be more than shrinking living space to claustrophobic instances, i wanted minima to be about a comfy private space, where the space were ergonomically scaled to the minimum proportions of myself, this helped execute the design and bring the model to realization.
