hey everyone sorry im so late to blog but ive been out of town for a while firstly this is the development work for Minima project. i started with a piece of furniture that i liked n then not long after that i discovered that that form had much more to offer it was "suggestive" on one side its low which suggested that you use it for specific things and on one side its high which means you can stand up. then i started to explore it more and more. how to use the suggestivity of the form and its minimal design to create a minimal space!
the second idea was to use the first one and change the position of 3 slices of the same shape shifting them forward and backward to seperate function.
the third idea was a tower like structure which had a certain serainity to it! especially in the compostition. the bed was horizontally on top which creates security and privacy and diffrent functions were distributed along the vertical part on platforms.
finally before i went to the tute i had attempted to combine my ideas into one complete design but certain restricions like the fact that i had to dismantle the pavillion made it very hard to build and under the advice of the tutor i started to reconsider my design. at this point these are some pics to help you understand what i just explained.
